Aquifer Storage and Recovery Feasibility Study - Napa, CA
Napa Sanitation District and California Department of Water Resources
AWR completed a 2-year project to evaluate the feasibility of utilizing underground aquifers to store and recover treated wastewater. The project required extensive geophysical investigation of the site, characterization of the hydraulic properties of the site, installation of monitoring wells, and pilot-scale test implementation.

Delta Background Study - California Delta
California Department of Water Resources & 8 Delta Reclamation Districts
AWR is initiating a study to characterize background conditions for soil, sediment, and ground water in the California Delta. The goal of the project is to establish a baseline to facilitate dredge sediment placement efforts in the California Delta.

Dredge Sediment Placement Optimization - California Delta
US Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco District
AWR is currently assessing potential dredge sediment placement and reuse sites in the California Delta in order to optimize placement location relative to potential uses such as wetland habitat restoration and levee rebuilding.

Marina Sediment Sampling and Analysis- Stockton, CA
Stockton Sailing Club
To facilitate dredging and re-establish original draft at the Stockton Sailing Club marina, AWR conducted sediment sampling and analysis. This work will enable Stockton Sailing Club to move forward obtaining the necessary permitting and approval for the dredging project.
